The 16th Annual Maple Grove Garden Tour

The 16th annual Maple Grove Garden tour features fairy gardens and 2014 garden trends.

A colorful finale to Maple Grove Days, the annual Maple Grove Garden Tour
brings people together to enjoy the beauty within their own backyards. With a
yearly attendance of more than 1,000 people, it is one of the largest in the
area.

The focus of this year’s tour, which is headed by co-chairs Jennifer Ebeling
and Mary Lynn Kenknight, includes 2014 garden trends as well as fairy
gardens—whimsical, miniature gardens meant for imaginary fairies to inhabit.

The tour would be entertaining enough, but additional resources are also
available along the way, including experts and presenters in all areas of
gardening.

“The garden tour is truly a gift because every resource you see on the tour
is donated,” Ebeling says, citing support from local garden centers, master
gardeners and local businesses.

With several unique locations each year, the Maple Grove Garden tour inspires
Maple Grove area residents to get connected to their backyards. “It’s all about
sharing your passion for the outdoors and the beauty of nature,” Ebeling
says.
