Women of Maple Grove, mark your calendars for Thursday, October 1, for the annual Girls’ Night Out, sponsored by the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. All proceeds benefit Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, a local organization that assists financially challenged breast cancer patients.
“What we love about Hope Chest is that it’s based in the Twin Cities,” says Jennie Zafft, marketing director for The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. “All of the funds go to help women in our own community with breast cancer.”
This year’s event will feature a generous gift bag for all participants, including special offers that can be redeemed at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. Organizers are also hoping to add extra gift cards to the mix for a few lucky winners.
Along with the local food and wine sampling throughout the evening, participants will have the opportunity to hear how the organization has helped first-hand.
“We get a lot of survivors at this event,” Zafft says. “It’s always a really inspirational evening.”
