Maple Grove’s Jeff Angell and Jamie Yuccas

Just in time for the Oscars, Maple Grove Magazine would like to recognize the accomplishments of MGSH graduates Jeff Angell and Jamie Yuccas, who can add a golden Emmy statuette to their resumes. Yuccas won in the Continuing Coverage—Within 24 Hours category for her reporting on flooding in North Dakota. Angell, of KSTC’s Beer Geeks, and Yuccas, of WCCO, received their awards at the Upper Midwest Emmy gala at the State Theater on September 29. “It blew my mind,” Angell says—his award for on-air talent came after submitting a five-minute reel of work—and Angell says his next steps include commercials for Plymouth Tire & Auto and on-air hosting for KSTC’s Prep 45, which covers high school sports in Minnesota.
