Tutti Frutti Brings Frozen Yogurt to Maple Grove

Tutti Frutti lets you be creative and healthy with your frozen yogurt.
A peek inside the new Tutti Frutti in Maple Grove.

Maple Grove, meet Tutti Frutti. Owner Kelly Gaspar opened this cute frozen yogurt shop last September, so you can satisfy a sweet tooth without breaking your diet. It's easy to do because you control portion sizes, and Tutti Frutti has more than 50 flavors that cover a spectrum of fat-free, low-fat and sugar-free options.

When you walk in, all you do is fill up a cup with your preferred portion of whatever yogurt and toppings you want. Then you pay for the treat by its weight (45 cents per ounce). Gaspar notes that the average total per cup is under $4; and customers can always feel free to use the scale before paying.

Every day, there are 12 options (including a sorbet) that you can mix together in your custom creation. Fans have raved about the red velvet and the cheese cake flavors, but we can't wait to try one of Gaspar's favorite combinations: peanut butter and banana. Find the flavors of the day at Tutti Frutti Maple Grove's Facebook page.

There will be many more flavors to come, as Gaspar and her staff keep testing out new recipes. Using real food, purees, and milk delivered by a milkman every week, Gaspar says her frozen yogurt is “definitely a treat, but a healthier treat.”
