Stone Ruination IPA; $6.99 a 22 ounce bomber
Stone brewery out of Escondido, CA is one of the largest craft breweries in the U.S. How did they get so big? With beers the caliber of Ruination, that’s how. You’ll notice a soft soapiness because of the hops upon first sip. Don't worry, it’s not the kind of soap your parents washed your mouth out with. Even with those aggressive hops, Ruination is still very soft and light in the mouth. Kicking in at 7.7 percent alcohol and being so smooth, this is a perfect beer to let you forget about all that mucky dirt that is all over the street, lawn and laundry room floor.
Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold; $8.99 a six pack
Great Lakes out of Celeveland, OH has made its name on this Dortmunder. What is a Dortmunder, you ask? Well, without getting historical and boring, Great Lakes descripes it as “a smooth lager that strikes a delicate balance between sweet malt and dry hop flavors.” Sounds good, right?
Victory Prima Pils; $9.49 a six pack
Victory out of Downingtown, PA will make you take everything you know about pilsner and toss it aside. This here is the best darn pils to come out of the U.S. Light and creamy but insanely crisp, you could match this beer with a nice clam chowder or just pound it while sitting on your riding mower for the first spring grass cutting.
