When planning Valentine’s Day, what should every couple keep in mind? ... Bourbon, of course. J. Carver straight bourbon has a mash bill of 71 percent Minnesota corn, 20 percent Minnesota winter wheat and nine percent malted barley. It’s been aged over two years in charred oak barrels coopered in Minnesota.
Bourbon and Bubbles
- 2 oz. J. Carver bourbon
- ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz. simple syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- Nualonge Brut Rosé
- Ice cube(s)
Add ice cubes to a high ball glass. Pour in bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and bitters; stir gently. Top with Nualonge Brut Rosé.
