WBR celebrates 49th year.
Wastebasket Revue (WBR) first started in 1967 when Osseo district music teacher/ supervisor Duayne Malewicki suggested finding a unique way to raise scholarship funds for graduating seniors.
This year, WBR raised $42,500 for 17 graduates by holding its annual performance of skits and singing numbers. More than 300 employees and community members join to perform, build sets, create costumes and sell tickets and concessions.
