Charitable Housewives in Maple Grove

MG Housewives take on good causes.

From supporting children with terminal illness to helping pack food at the C.R.O.S.S food shelf, Charitable Housewives knows how to be superwomen in the truest sense of the word. In May, this group of 25 women held its second 5K and 1K to support Wishes and More, an organization that grants wishes to children with life threatening diseases. Now 2 years old, the group meets every month to fight everything from hunger to homelessness, and for simple reasons: “I feel best when I am helping others,” says Leslie Jones, Charitable Housewives race coordinator. charitablehousewives.com
