Recycle your leftover wine corks.
Ever wonder what to do with corks when your bottle of wine is empty? Now you can take them to Houlihan’s in Maple Grove to be recycled. More than 100 pounds of cork have been donated at all four Houlihan’s Minnesota locations (There are 82 Houlihan’s locations from all over the country that participate).
How does it work? Customers bring in corks and deposit them into a designated box. Once the box is full, it is shipped to ReCORK, a company that transforms the cork into something new, like shoes or sandals. Learn more on the Houlihan’s website.
