Darby’s Dancers receive Jolly Time award.

Darby’s Dancers were recognized for their contribution to the Maple Grove community.

Darby’s Dancers was born in 2014 because of a little girl’s passion for dance. Darby Jones lost her fight with leukemia last year, but her passion and spirit live on in Darby’s Dancers, a Maple Grove nonprofit that teaches children with special needs how to dance, free of charge.

Fundraisers, volunteer coaches and donated studio time allow this organization to exist. Now, Jolly Time Popcorn has awarded the organization $1,000 for the way it makes a difference in the Maple Grove community. Kids who participate in Darby’s Dancers currently practice and perform in conjunction with Maple Grove’s Kincade Dance Industries. 13608 80th Circle.
