Maple Grove police captain Dan Wills completes FBI National Academy Program.
Last December, captain of patrol Dan Wills graduated from the FBI National Academy Program at Quantico, Virginia, a 10-week program known for its intense training in leadership, advanced communication and rigorous fitness. The entire Maple Grove police command staff has now attended this training. “We’re fortunate to have an outstanding relationship with the FBI in many ways,” says police chief Eric Werner. “Local policing has changed significantly and we have to pay attention to our local community, but also to the broader national and international communities.”
The Maple Grove Police Department accepts applications for reserve officers once a year between May 15 and August 9. More info at maplegrovemn.gov.
