Faith’s Lodge is hosting its second annual Hope Walks & Rolls 5K
fundraising event Saturday, May 16, to help families who are coping
with the serious illness or loss of a child to find strength and build
hope for the future.
Participants of the 5K are invited to
walk and run — or roll in any manner they like with bikes, trikes,
roller-skates, scooters, strollers, wagons or wheelchairs. Registration
for the event is available at www.faithslodge.org. Last year, 275 people participated in the 5K.
Faith’s Lodge is a retreat in Danbury, Wisconsin, for parents and families facing the serious illness or loss of a child. All proceeds from the Hope Walks & Rolls event will go to Faith’s Lodge.
