uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 and prides itself on offering same-day repair service on all brands of computers, tablets, smartphones and game consoles. The company’s second location opened in Maple Grove last October. The average cost for electronic repairs is around $85, and each service comes with a 90-day warranty. Fixes include cracked screens, software issues, camera problems and water damage. According to co-owner Joe Rintelman, it’s the customer service that makes uBreakiFix stand out. “We communicate with our customers throughout the entire process and are very forthright,” he explains. “They know how long the repair is expected to take and how much it will cost.” Though the Main Street location is their first, Rintelman and co-owner Ryan Kaiser aspire to open three more stores during the next two years.
