Homemade Twin Bing candy bars
Enjoy this homemade version of the Twin Bing candy bars, made in Iowa.

This time of year brims with holiday traditions—the baking-, cooking- and memory-making kinds. Some of our Advisory Board members share how they wrap the holidays in extra special ways: Jennie Zafft, Lorrie Link, Birgit GruessEric Hagemann

“My boyfriend’s family always spends a whole day together baking all kind of delicious Christmas treats, including Spritz cookies, Bing bars, almond bark pretzels, peanut butter balls, caramels and more. It’s such a fun day for everyone to catch up, enjoy baking together, listen to Christmas music and get into the holiday spirit. All the treats are amazing, but the Bing bars are one of my favorites. The combination of the cherry chips with the chocolate and nuts creates the perfect flavor and texture combination. I mean, you really can’t go wrong with these homemade candy bars.” —Natalie Conrad, communications/social media manager, Minneapolis Northwest Tourism
