Once Upon a Time
The little princess in your life will enjoy an enchanted evening full of everything that glitters and sparakles. Girls and their special adult guests will dance the night away, enjoy a treat and crafts, and go home with a special photo to remember the night. Proceeds help provide scholarships for Osseo Area School enrichment activities.

Festive Spring Salads

Mosaic Yard Art
Make a colorful house number sign or gorgeous garden stakes that’ll up your curb appeal with a touch of whimsy. Choose your project and chat with classmates while mixing and matching pre-cut glass shapes into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind design. Walk away with a piece of DIY art that’ll make your neighbors jealous.

Track & Field
Kids can grab their running shoes and get an active intro to track and field from experienced high school athletes and coaches. They’ll build teamwork, respect and sportsmanship while gaining skills and stamina. An optional intra-squad meet gives students an opportunity to put their learning into practice and try their favorite events.

Love Languages
Learn how you’re uniquely wired to best receive love—and how you can most meaningfully express love to your partner or child. Register with a partner, take an assessment to figure out what “love language” speaks most clearly to you and walk away with ways to improve your relationship.

How to Cut the Cable Cord
“People are tired of getting ripped off by the cable and satellite companies,” says instructor Ron Timm, who’s been teaching for decades, turning his five college degrees and curiosity into skills he can share with others. He says almost four million people have dropped or refused cable and satellite television over the last five years. “There are myriad new options for TV and movie watchers. The difficulty is sorting it all out,” he says. In this course, Timm shares an exhaustive list of options, plus tricks for cutting costs while keeping quality.

Camping with Solar Power
Live off-the-grid, even if it’s just for a few days. Learn to power 110-volt appliances and recharge devices and batteries using the clean, economical power of solar panels. “My wife and I are avid campers and we don’t like to be ‘tethered’ to civilization,” says veteran instructor Steve Hoem. “My passion and hope is to enable others to introduce green energy and the ability to cut the power cord while camping.”

Spanish for Travelers
Learn practical Spanish that’ll help you converse with confidence when ordering meals, bartering and getting around in Spanish-speaking communities. “The world is so globally interconnected, and studies say that children who learn a second language do better on SAT scores—and it increases cultural sensitivity,” says Elizabeth Martinez, who incorporates music, dance and cultural experiences into class sessions. “Conversation is our primary focus, modeling first language acquisition.”

Exploring Pottery
Don your best grubs, channel your inner potter and sink your hands into some clay. You’ll get an overview of slab-based pottery design, incorporating coils and textures, and wheel-throwing. Experiment with glazes and under-glazes to take your creativity up a notch.
