Brycen Wojta has become a key player for Bethel University

Crimson basketball all-time-points leader Brycen Wojta reflects on a strong freshman season at Bethel University, where he became an indispensable member of the team’s starting lineup. “After a week of practice, I already felt like a returner,” Wojta says, and this was in spite of an intensity level the ever-positive athlete describes as “full tilt all the time: the way I like it.”

Wojta also notes the “constant support” that is in abundant supply at Bethel, both on the court and off. In particular, he cites head coach Doug Novak’s wisdom as a major factor in his athletic and personal triumphs of the past year.

His phenomenal performance as a freshman earned Wojta a nomination to the Division III USA Basketball Team. He joined the nine-member team for a nine-day tour last July, competing against professional and all-star teams in Sao Paulo, Santos and Rio de Janeiro.
