Maple Grove Attorney: Kelly Eull

Meet Kelly Eull, the Maple Grove attorney (and mother) who does it all.

Kelly Eull, an attorney who concentrates her practice in family law, joined Maple Grove’s Henningson & Snoxell firm in December 2013. Being that Kelly has been listed as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the 2010-2012 editions, we figured we’d ask her (on behalf of all of the working moms out there) how she balances the busyness that comes with being a successful career woman with her role as a mother and wife.

KE: I was at a firm in St. Paul for 11 years, but I’ve lived in Maple Grove since 2005, and my kids (ages 3 and 5) go to school there too.  I wanted to be close to them in order to be as involved in their lives as possible.  I loved the fact that Henningson & Snoxell gave me an option to work where I live. I love Maple Grove, and not only is it great being by family, it’s a great feeling being able to give back to a community that means so much to me.
How do you balance being a mother and a successful lawyer?
KE: The kids go to school at Great Step by Step Montessori, and that has been a great fit for them.  My husband and I also have a great support system among our friends and family, and at the end of the day, it’s all about juggling.  I do most pick up and drop offs, but we just make sure we stay organized, look at the calendar, and work as a team.  I would say organization and teamwork are definitely key.
What are some things you like to do as a family?
KE: Oh that’s an easy one! We love the Highlander Rush Creek Restaurant.  It’s kid friendly and delicious, which is perfect for us.  It’s closed for renovations right now but we’re excited for it to open back up again! The kids also have a few favorite activities around town, including the Maple Grove maze, parks and ice-skating.  It’s so fun to be able to do these things with them.

MGM: What made you want to work at this firm? Had you worked anywhere else previously?
