As concerns about COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, spread across the globe, community members right here in Maple Grove are stepping up. 

Below is a list of local resources, including free lunches for kids who are out of school, restaurants offering curbside pickup, guidance from local authorities and more.

Lunds & Byerlys is offering extended hours, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., every day. The company asks shoppers to reserve the first hour of opening (7-8 a.m.) for shoppers who are at a higher risk of severe illness by COVID-19, including the elderly and those who are immunocompromised.

Whole Foods Market is opening from 8-9 a.m. for anyone over the age of 60. They are open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. to the general public.

Apricot Lane is offering virtual shopping with a stylist.

GoodThings is offering curbside pickup for orders placed over the phone.

Color Me Mine is offering to-go kits to keep kids and adults entertained.

Maple Grove Pearle Vision is now open and their eye doctors are performing routing eye exams. Call 763-420-5112 to schedule or book online. Hours are Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sat 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sun 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Simonson's Salon & Spa offers boutique items and other products for pickup, as well as gift cards.
