WhirlyBall
Whirlyball is a new hybrid sport that is sure to provide a good time for all who play. It combines basketball, hockey, lacrosse and bumper-cars—the ultimate sport, if you will.
How it works: There are two teams of five players each. Players maneuver in “whirlybugs,” which are advanced bumper cars powered by conducting plates on the floor. The objective is to use a scoop to throw a Wiffle ball into the goal. The goal resembles a basketball hoop with a backboard four feet by four feet and a hole with a net that is between 15 and 20 inches, depending on level of play. Players must be 54 inches or taller.
Reserve a court in one-hour increments for $79–$199 per hour depending on day of the week, or just walk right in for $12 per person per half-hour.
