Minneapolis is home to an array of talented musicians, singers and bands, but no one rocks the stage quite like Grind, a beloved local rock cover band. The Minneapolis-based group was formed in 2005 and has since performed more than 500 shows in Minnesota and Wisconsin with no intentions of slowing down.
On April 12 Grind will be at Maple Tavern to sing your favorites from the ’80s, ’90s and today, covering songs from Nirvana and Michael Jackson to Puddle of Mudd and Godsmack. The group even enjoys throwing in a few unexpected tunes such as “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake, “Milkshake” by Kelis and “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot. This is serious rock and it’s sure to be a night of visiting great memories, fantastic friends and good drinks. grindmn.com; Maple Tavern, 9375 Deerwood Ln. N., 763.425.2700
