Last summer, Mick Wragg was sitting on his back patio enjoying the nice afternoon, when he noticed an abundance of chipmunks. He and his wife decided to throw a few nuts at them for entertainment. As the chipmunks became more and more excited, Wragg opened the Planters Mixed Nuts container and let the woodland animals have at it. This little guy decided to climb into the bucket, having his way with a few cashews. “He went in and out of the jar and looked at us, and then we put the cover on top and he hopped up and gave us a dirty look,” Wragg says. By then, it seems, the chipmunks were spoiled rotten. Wragg even sent the photo in to Planters for potential advertisements, seeing as both animals and humans alike are wild about their product. Although it may not be an ad for Planters, it did capture our 3rd place spot in the Focus on Maple Grove photo contest’s nature category.

This particular shot was captured with Wragg’s Canon 60D. Photography has been a hobby for him all of his life. He takes photos daily, and has even started his own photography business, Mick’s Photography Inc. Asked what his favorite subject is: “I’m kind of between nature, people and sports, but my favorite thing is probably people,” says Wragg.
