Rush Creek’s Sara Nadian writes thoughtful letter to author Suzanne LaFleur.
Sara Nadian has been writing since she was in kindergarten. Now, the Maple Grove Junior High seventh grader, who attended Rush Creek Elementary, is being honored for her written work. The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library sponsored the Letters About Literature contest in which Nadian won first place in her age group for her letter to author Suzanne LaFleur, who wrote Love, Aubrey, among others.
“We were pretty thrilled to hear the news,” says Cindy Nadian, Sara’s mother. “I think Sara’s teacher, Mrs. Albrecht, has really helped develop her writing skills.”
