Many people may know Ryan Stockhaus as the new football coach for the defending state champion football team at Osseo High School. What people may not know is that Stockhaus is also a special education teacher, husband and avid baseball fan.
Before heading to Osseo to teach special education and coach the football team, Stockhaus enjoyed four years teaching special education at Bancraft Elementary. “While there, I learned a lot about myself, working as a team and building relationships,” Stockhaus says.
With more than eleven years of coaching experience, Stockhaus is ready to bring his teaching and relationship-building skills to the football team as well. “I think football teaches so much about life and standing up to adversity—skills that can last a lifetime and create success. It’s a great feeling to know that as coaches we have the opportunity to mold individuals through the game we love,” Stockhaus says.
Stockhaus recently celebrated his sixth wedding anniversary with his wife, Sari, and when he is not teaching or working, he enjoys spending time with their families and close friends at the cabin or playing baseball.
