OMNI Brewing Company—open since September 2015—features a special brew almost every month. For the month of March, they will be re-introducing a St. Patty’s Day favorite—Rua.
Rua is the Gaelic term for red-haired or red head and is perfect for describing this rich Irish red brew. “It has a good malt flavor with a ginger spiciness and kick,” says brewery co-founder Zach Ward.
First introduced at OMNI last year around St. Patrick’s Day, this brewery favorite has many waiting to enjoy it once again. “It has a cult following in the tap room,” Ward says.
“When you have your first beer that actually tastes good, it’s kind of a magical moment,” he explains. OMNI prides itself on constantly creating a variety of brews to make sure everyone can experience this magical moment.
The release party for Rua is March 11 and includes live music as well as the release of a new Belgian strong pale ale called Loonacy.
