Sample some of your favorite German delicacies and enjoy lively music when Rose Arbor & Wildflower Lodge celebrates Oktoberfest. The open house event at this Maple Grove senior living facility is a great way for members of the community to come and enjoy a little slice of Germany with free food, music and door prizes. Live polka music will be provided by The Jolly Huntsmen Band, known for popular performances at corporate and public events all around the Twin Cities and Wisconsin area. Tom Retka, a member of The Jolly Huntsmen, thinks the Oktoberfest event will “be a real spirit-lifter and a binding force” for the residents and guests.
Rose Arbor & Wildflower Lodge Oktoberfest takes place October 10 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose Arbor, 16500 92nd Ave. N. Everyone is welcome.
