Substantial improvements to health care options in our community are on the horizon in 2015, with a 300 percent expansion of the Park Nicollet Clinic already well underway. A major provider of outpatient and specialty care throughout the Twin Cities, Park Nicollet currently operates 20 primary care clinics, seven urgent care centers and 11 pharmacies in the metro area. The $48 million investment in the Maple Grove campus will result in a three-story, 93,000-square-foot addition to the existing clinic, allowing for upgraded services in orthopedics, musculoskeletal care, dermatology, advanced imaging, oncology and rheumatology.
The new center will also include expanded urgent care and infusion facilities. The enhancement is on track for completion later this year, and represents the preliminary phase in a broader plan to develop the first ambulatory surgery and endoscopy centers in the northwest metro, to be housed in the original building and slated to open in 2016.
