Quench Your Thirst with a Cucumber Drink Care of Williams & Sonoma

A summertime recipe from Williams-Sonoma.

Got a serious thirst? There’s no better way to send it packing on a hot summer day than to mix up a fresh fruit and vegetable thirst quencher.

Prep: 10 minutes Serves 1 Ingredients: 2 ½ fl. oz. vodka 2 fl. oz. fresh lime juice ¾ fl. oz. light agave nectar 3 dashes bitters 4 round cucumber slices, plus 1 cucumber ribbon 2 fresh mint sprigs ½ cup ice, plus more for serving

Directions: Combine vodka, lime juice, agave nectar, bitters, cucumber slices and 1 mint sprig in a cocktail shaker. Add ½ cup ice and shake vigorously. Strain into ice-filled glass. Garnish with remaining mint sprig and cucumber ribbon.

Note: Make a larger batch in a pitcher and refrigerate. Pour individual servings into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice just before serving.
