New fitness studio offers expanded class schedule.

With a new group fitness class schedule, Pure Barre opened in Maple Grove last December. The faster-paced and more challenging session is called Pure Empower, and includes the studio’s original combination of Pilates, yoga and strength training.

“We’re still going to use the barre technique; everything is low impact, but we’re going to kick it up a notch,” says Andrea Hartneck, former client turned studio owner.

Pure Barre focuses on low-impact techniques that are safe for people of any age or size, helping to build muscle while creating a longer, leaner frame rather than bulking up. Pure Barre offers a free trial of unlimited classes for a week.
