Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose

Recycle, reuse, repurpose
Decorating for Thanksgiving can be just as fun as Halloween, and the best part is you already have some materials to use.

Halloween is over, but you still have ornamental pumpkins and gourds left over. They’re in great shape, but you’re not sure how to use them. Look no further! Decorating for Thanksgiving can be just as fun as Halloween, and the best part is you already have some materials to use. Gourds are a great way to spice up a dining table centerpiece, cocktail table or entryway table.

Coming in a variety of different colors, shapes and sizes, gourds are a cute way to add nature into your design. Place them thoughtfully on a mantel, arrange them in a wooden centerpiece or stack them in a glass lantern to create a warm space. Try incorporating mini pumpkins and Indian corn to your centerpieces.

TIP: To make your decorating feel more like Thanksgiving and less like Halloween—add pine cones, berries and evergreen branches, which can also be repurposed into your December holidays.
