Sunny Choi has graced our pages in the past because she is an annual winner. Although she’s a busy sixth grader at Maple Grove Junior High, she also trains as a figure skater daily. Her activities include classical ballet, yoga, Pilates and strength training. But those are only building blocks for a promising career on the ice. Sunny has again taken the podium at the Minnesota State Figure Skating Championships, this time with the gold for juvenile girls.
“What I hope will be true in 2025…I hope I will be a member of Team USA, which represents the United States at various national and international figure skating competitions, including the U.S. Figure Skating National Championships, World Figure Skating Championships and the Olympic Games.” --Sunnny Choi
