I haven’t hit 30 yet, but when I check in with my old school district, I feel old.
Since I walked out with diploma in hand in 2001, Osseo Area Schools has made amazing strides when it comes to incorporating technology into the learning environment.
When I was a whippersnapper, teachers wrote on white boards. At the time, that was progress. Now, teachers are using Google Voice, Moodle, Twitter and other digital tools and devices to improve learning.
The school district has been so innovative, so cutting edge that it earned an honor no other school district in the nation has received. The short list of cohorts includes Adobe, Verizon, Intel and PBS.
