Breakfast Gets Animated at MGSH’s Fourth Annual Fundraiser

Fun for all at MGSH’s annual Character Breakfast.

Talk about an animated start to your weekend. On Saturday, January 24, parent volunteers will man the grill as their costumed teens dish out pancakes, sausages, coffee, juice and other goodies provided by local businesses. It might be best to avoid accepting apples from the Evil Queen or asking the Princess of Arendelle to pour your coffee (unless you like it iced), and we can’t guarantee that the star of Disney’s Tangled will be wearing a hairnet, or that Hermione Granger can transmogrify your hot cake into a chocolate one.

Last year’s character breakfast featured close to 100 students in homemade costumes, with roles assigned on the basis of resemblance for optimal authenticity. Younger guests will receive an autograph book to be signed by all their favorite fairy tale princesses and princes, teenage wizards, sentient toys, friendly monsters and talking rodents.

Now in its fourth year, this annual event supports the Crimson Choirs’ special programs including choir tours, field trips and other non-budgeted expenses. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance from any Maple Grove Senior High choir member.
