Come to the 1st Annual Winter Wellness Expo & 5k!
What a great way to reset after the holidays by attending a health & wellness expo and run a race with your friends and family. Be a champion of wellness to your community!
5k & 1 Mile Fun Run
We have a neighborhood 5k race loop all mapped out for 5k participants (this race will be be chip timed) and a 1 mile fun run for kids and families. The Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers for the 5k will receive a medal. We will provide a free light breakfast for runners only. Coffee is being provided by the incredible folks from Dogwood Coffee.
All runners will also receive:
- warm beanie
- coffee mug
- expo goody bag
Get your Winter Hero on
It will likely be cold...so what better way to dress warm than as your favorite champion or super hero? Best dressed costume will win a prize.
Wellness Expo
Come warm up inside and walk through the mini Wellness Expo inside Church of the Open Door. We have 15+ exhibitors from the health and wellness industry ready to give you great tips, products, and PRIZES to keep you and your loved ones well! From chiropractors, athletic retailers, to clean eating experts there will be something for everyone! The expo is free and open to the public so bring your friends! There a few tables remaining for the Expo so if you would like to be an exhibitor please contact Dre Barthel: dre@emergetwincities.org.
We also have the talented baristas from Coffee Cart MPLS making their award winning specialty coffees for $2 each.
Run for the Wellness of single moms in the Twin Cities
