New store offers family fun games.
The new Grey Duck Games & Toys in The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes has everything you need to have a great time like magic, board games, Kendamas and more. Located at the old Air Traffic location, co-owner Jordan Lahr says he wanted to open a store that “is just a fun place for people to play games with one another.”
The game Slapzi is currently a best seller. Each player has five cards containing images on both sides. Then one person draws a card from the clue pile and reads the demand. For example, “something that fits in your pocket.” If someone has a card that meets the requirement, they quickly slap it down. The goal is to lose all of your cards. “People just want to play it over and over again,” Lahr says (Slapzi $19.99).
