Sarah Hanley won the second annual Minnesota Author Project in the Adult Fiction 2019 category. The contest recognizes the best indie-published authors in Minnesota and is presented by the Minnesota Library Foundation.
Hanley and her debut novel, Matka, were featured in our September 2019 issue. The book is based on the true story of her grandmother Zofia Lach’s life during and after World War II.
