Menchie’s Opens in Maple Grove

With a mission of creating smiles, Menchie’s frozen yogurt is focused on creating a unique experience for every customer. Peter and Sophia Goldreich are carrying on this tradition and opening their first Menchie’s franchise in Maple Grove, with hopes of adding other Twin Cities locations in the future. The Elm Creek Boulevard store, which opened in December, even hands out gifts to every child that comes through the doors. “My wife and I are very excited to bring it to the Maple Grove community, and we think Menchie’s aligns with Maple Grove’s family and community values really well,” Peter Goldreich says.
    
Menchie’s offers more than 70 different toppings and 100 flavors, including some that are nonfat, low-carb and gluten-free, making it a healthier alternative to other sweet endeavors. Flavors are constantly rotating; Goldreich’s favorite concoction is the “Takes the Cake Batter” and “Red Velvet Royale” mixed with cheesecake pieces, whipped cream and cherries. Even though frozen yogurt is an icy treat, snuggle up near the fireplace in Menchie’s during the winter months, and enjoy the warm and the cold!
