Nonprofit Organization Allows Families to Honor Lost Children

Annual tradition creates community out of loss.

Since its dedication in 2001, the Maple Grove Angel of Hope statue has been a place for grieving families to place white flowers to honor young ones they have lost. Volunteer group Friends of the Angel hosts this annual event where families from all walks of life gather at the Angel statue to collectively commemorate these young souls.

The non-denominational service takes place December 6 at 7 p.m. at the Maple Grove Arboretum.  Refreshments and candles provided.
