Get Connected and Give Back with Maple Grove Women of Today

A diverse group of women are making things happen in Maple Grove. These
women, from varied economic, educational and professional backgrounds, and
representing many stages of life, dedicate their time and talents to making
their community a better place. These women are the Maple Grove Women of Today,

Maple Grove Mom Tackles Tennis

Maple Grove resident Colleen Hazen is the oldest of seven children and she never played organized sports. So Hazen had an epiphany when her own two children, Andy and Katie, began playing competitive tennis several years ago at Maple Grove Junior High School. Sarah Jackson Dances to Make a Difference

Sarah Jackson said ‘yes’ to helping with an area event to raise funds for cancer victims but didn’t truly know what she was getting herself into. A National Honor Society student and Maple Grove High School hockey team member, Jackson was looking to collect service hours. She had worked with Steffany Fleming, fundraising chair for Dancing to Make a Difference, on an event in the past and was happy to help again. Fleming asked Jackson to make ribbons to be worn by dancers raising money while dancing in honor of those fighting or who have lost their fight to cancer. Help for the Helpers from Keller Williams

Many times, it’s challenging to find volunteers, time and resources to support the needs in our community.
