In 2006, the Maple Grove Teen Center and the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes began hosting an annual event that many parents and kids look forward to in the Maple Grove area. With a promise for a fun-filled evening before the 2018 fall school season kicks off, the public will have the opportunity to check out the latest fashions for back-to-school wear, featuring some of our own local teens in grades 6-12 serving as models. Several retailers from the area will be participating in the event, some of which include Apricot Lane, Buckle, Rubi Jubi, JC Penney’s and Mainstream Boutique.
Raffle prizes, donated by various business partners, will be available for participants to receive. In addition, those in attendance will receive an Arbor Lakes Savings Book, featuring offers from more than 50 participating stores and restaurants, as well as a gift bag, which also includes additional offers from local businesses. —Jennifer Holly
