Lyme Disease Support Group Meets Monthly in Maple Grove

Maple Grove is the newest chapter to join the Minnesota Lyme Association. The local chapter, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will host presentations and bring in experts concerning Lyme-related issues.

MLA-Maple Grove will also provide opportunities for small group and private discussions regarding the challenges and complexities associated with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the tick-borne disease.

The group’s next meeting on Wednesday, June 18 will feature guest speaker Rainbow Pest Experts founder Scott Dorn covering “Tick Management from a Pest Professional’s Perspective.” Dorn has worked in the Minnesota pest control industry for 16 years and is Master Licensed with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Rainbow Pest Experts has won multiple service awards, including the Angie’s List Super Service Award.

Dorn will discuss the life cycle of the tick and the best products for tick control throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons.
