Art-A-Whirl

Wander through the open private studios and galleries to view a variety of creative mediums from more than 800 local Minneapolis artists. As the largest open studio tour in the country, visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of art through viewing, purchasing and connecting with the artists themselves.

Worldwide Day of Botanical Art

Celebrate the Worldwide Day of Botanical Art with with the opening reception of "Out of the Woods," a national traveling art exhibition celebrating trees in public gardens. The event will also feature demonstrations and tours by artists from the Minnesota School of Botanical Art and a presentation by Director of Exhibitions for the American Society of Botanical Artists Carol Woodin. Yellow Tree Theatre Presents 'Cry It Out'

Yellow Tree Theatre presents "Cry It Out," a "women-centered comedy about new parenthood."

Written by Molly Smith Metzler and directed by Angela Timberman, the play tackles topics such as depression, isolation, lack of sleep and "saggy flesh."
