Each year, there are an abundance of homeless or unwanted animals looking for a loving family to take them in as their own. Ruff Start Rescue, a Minnesota-based non-profit organization, hosts dozens of pet adoption events throughout the state each year, and on June 15, they will host a day-long adoption event at the PetSmart of Maple Grove. On a yearly basis, Ruff Start dedicates countless resources and hours to finding a home for as many animals as possible and they are always on the lookout for volunteers in the Twin Cities area.
