Option one: Commemorate this underappreciated holiday by watching the movie Groundhog Day on repeat. Make a fresh batch of popcorn and laugh in the same way at the same volume at all the same jokes each time. Option two: Instead of frightening your preschooler, take him or her out to Elm Creek Park Reserve for groundhog-related activities, including a puppet show, crafting, hike and a crawl through a “groundhog tunnel.” And then commemorate this under-appreciated holiday by watching Groundhog Day on repeat.
