When the going got tough for Channon MacEachern’s daughter Paige, who was having some trouble reading in her first-grade class, they found help at Sylvan Learning Center (7928 Main St.) in Maple Grove. “Somewhere along the way, it didn’t click for [Paige],” says MacEachern.

It takes a special, talented and smart teen to compete in three sports at the state tourney level in high school. Olivia Evanson sure fits the bill.

Maple Grove residents are fortunate to have three amazing women in high-level leadership roles related to fire, crime and health. In positions once filled only by men, these ladies fill their own shoes.
