With two much larger brothers growing up, I scampered away from fights. I never could get up on water skis. We have a pool in my backyard and a cabin up north where swimming is recreational and relaxing.

Last summer, Mick Wragg was sitting on his back patio enjoying the nice afternoon, when he noticed an abundance of chipmunks. He and his wife decided to throw a few nuts at them for entertainment.

Great achievements are often times marked by great victories. Three outstanding Maple Grove area young girl athletes added significant accomplishments to their resume last year. They prove that age is simply a number and that anything is possible.

Birthdays ordinarily include friends, family, presents, lots of cake and a few cheers to another year. Nate Bruss’ 16th birthday was anything but ordinary. On August 16th, Nate rang in his big day by making it even bigger: he set the world record for solo-piloting 10 aircraft in one day.

As a dance student, Erin Cooney had taken jazz, tap, ballet and tumbling before she started Irish dance at the age of 11. Little did she know what started off as a “fun, social, recreational thing” would end up being something that would have a huge impact on her life.
