Adopt-a-Street Program Gives Community Members the Opportunity to Help Out
While driving across the metro area, you may have noticed Adopt-A-Street signs accompanied by a family or organization’s name. The program, which includes both streets and highways, began as an initiative to make the city of Minneapolis cleaner with the help of community members. Paul Higdem, his wife Julie, and their children have been volunteering with this cause for the past 20 years.
