Liz Schiller, owner of Juniper in the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, offers suggestions for an on-trend fall wardrobe boost. The Southwest style is showing up in prints, graphics, colors and accessories this season. Schiller says, “Think rodeos, cowgirls, and the wild, wild West.”

“For fall knits, nothing is too big or too intricate. From cozy pants and skirts to a layering tank, knits are no longer meant to be just sweaters. And, we love that the oversize trend is hanging around for fall. Not only is it more forgiving than the skinny and tight trend a few falls ago, it’s oh-so-comfy.”

“For next season, designers are challenging us to wear pants and a dress. Jeggings are still a staple of any wardrobe: they are a great (and warmer) alternative to tights and they are versatile. We love to pair jegging or skinny jeans with a collared shirt dress.”
“Sometimes contrasts can complement each other, and that is definitely the case this season. Pairing a skinny belt with an oversized chunky sweater or a ruffle sock over jeggings is exactly the right combination.”
Accessories
Long, “thing” necklaces, skinny belts, socks and cuffed-top boots or leg warmers.
