This year marks the fourth annual Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome to benefit GiGi's Playhouse! Get moving for a great cause. Sign up for a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, or a kids' dash, followed by an afternoon of big fun: music, face painting, food trucks, balloons and more.

In the Twin Cities metro area, there are many homeless and unwanted animals looking for a loving family to adopt them. Homeward Bound, a non-profit organization dedicated to sheltering and fostering these animals, will be holding a dog adoption event at the Maple Grove PetSmart. There will be dogs in all shapes, ages, and sizes.
