Annual Winter Wellness Expo & 5k

5k race & 1 mile fun run

We will be offering a neighborhood 5k race (this is a chip timed race) and a family-friendly 1 mile fun run in Maple Grove.  The top 3 males and top 3 females will receive medals, as well as the top finisher in the fun run.  A compimentary race beanie and a free light breakfast will be offered to all registered runners.  Runners are encouraged to bring cheer squads and also wear complimentray race day beanie hats to show support of Emerge Mothers Academy.

Family FUNDay

Join St. John's Lutheran School on Saturday, April 28th for the annual Eagle Family FUNDay!  St. John's welcomes the community to come join the fun!

  • 9:00am 5K Family Fun Run (free!)
  • 9:45 "Little Eagle Loop" a short race for ages 1-Kindergarten (free!)
  • 10:00-12:00 Carnival (bounce houses & games), Auction, Food & More

Be a Santa to a Senior Holiday Gift Drive

While many seniors enjoy being able to live independently, the holidays can be a difficult time for those who are unable to spend them with friends or loved ones.

This is why the local Home Instead Senior Care® office serving Minneapolis and the western suburbs is inviting the community to come together to bring some comfort and holiday cheer to area seniors through its Be a Santa to a Senior® program. Organization Description: Hammer Residences, Inc. is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1923 by Alvina Hammer, Hammer provides residential caring support for adult and children with developmental disabilities. Hammer Residences, Inc. serves more than 1500 individuals with a wide range of intellectual disabilities like Autism and Down syndrome. 275 adults reside in 36 group homes and 10 apartment programs in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Breanna’s Star: a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving

Breanna’s Star is a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving in support of Breanna’s Gift, an organization bringing classes & workshops in visual arts, dance, music, theater and “Art Takeout” to children at Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest and Children’s Minnesota in St. Paul and Minneapolis. The event includes appetizers, wine and beer, silent and live auctions, a make-it-yourself art project and entertainment by country/rock/swing band Trailer Trash. Attire is casual.
