WHAT: Girls Night Out Benefiting Hope Chest for Breast Cancer

Mark your calendar for an evening out at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove. 100% of proceeds from the event will benefit Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, an organization who purpose is to provide the quickest access to help with the most urgent daily living needs such as housing, utilities, transportation, childcare and Hope Chest Meals that Heal delivery to local patients and their families fighting breast cancer.

Join us for the 2^nd Annual Get Busy #LIVIN Music Festival to benefit the #LIVIN Foundation and Canvas Health. The #LIVIN Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote a positive outlook on life, reduce the stigma associated with depression and mental illness and ultimately prevent suicide through various activities, events and outreach. Funds from last year’s Get Busy #LIVIN Music Festival were used to host Camp LIVIN, a weekend long retreat for families who lost a loved one to suicide. With a variety of literature ranging from fiction to nonfiction, children and adults alike can get their hands on a diverse selection of books at a fair price. Come to Church of the Open Door from 3pm-7pm for DJ, Food Trucks, Games, and a Charity Fair featuring over 30 local non profits.

Then from 7:30-9pm join us for a special night of worship featuring The Church of the Open Door Worship Collective, Dove award winner Joel Hanson and local band favorite Family Three.

SilverCreek on Main will host its annual Longest Day fundraiser to end Alzheimer's on June 21.

Residents, staff and members of the Maple Grove Fire and Police Departments (along with other area agencies) will ride a Nu-Step Fitness Recumbent Bike for 12 hours in shifts of 15 minutes. The ride raises money for those affected by Alzheimer's. Organizers say they raised more than $7,000 last year.

The event will also feature planking world record holder Andy Steinfeldt and former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Pete Bercich. Read more about The Longest Day

Grab your fluffy friend and a donut to work it all off as you walk or run along the trail. Proceeds of this event support Secondhand Hounds, a nonprofit animal rescue in Minnesota that works to provide a safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for pups. This event is open to the community! You do not have to be on a team to come. Bring your friends and family and enjoy the show! The event will feature a cancer surivor and caregiver celebration, performance by dB Cooper Band, food from Red Wagon Food Truck, a silent auction, luminaria ceremony, and movie at sunset!
